Great Flat Lode Trail

This is a circular trail of about 7.5 miles (approximately 5 miles from Chiverton Park), with one of the greatest concentrations of historic mine buildings anywhere in the world. It is dominated at its centre by the Basset monument on the top of Carn Brea, which can be easily seen from the park. As these trails have only recently been open the quality of the information boards at points of interest are of very high standard.
